Our Service charges are more than double what can be reasonably justified in our building. We believe there has been years of embedded kickbacks commissions and costs built into the service charges over 25 years of the incumbent managing agent.

Going to court is a trap because the managing agent uses the leaseholders money to hire ultra-experienced and expensive lawyers to crush you in the court and the first tier tribunal does not rule fairly in favour of leaseholders.

Many owners live abroad and are bot contactable to get their support.

The leaseholders who are here live scared in the building because they have learned over the last 25 years that if you put your self forward and challenge the managing agent, the agent make your life a misery with extensive litigation and harassment.

This is like living in a third world country inside a first world country. Nowhere in the UK should this nightmare go on but it goes on in many buildings around London and in the UK. This has to stop and we must take a stand because this causes high rents too.

One effective way is to carry out a forensic audit and uncover fraud overcharging and accounting abuses.

Please fund this audit and set a presidence for other blocks around London and the UK to liberate the leaseholders who are in trapped curcumstances, with debilatating Service Charges suffering Managing Agent abuses and who are powerless to change it
