    Story

Andy Bardon & Phil Brown are going to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in just 5 days, the world’s largest freestanding mountain at nearly 20,000ft. They set off to Tanzania on Saturday 16th March.

We would like to raise money to help #FREDDIESFIGHT. Freddie is a 3 year old boy who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Freddie and his family need to raise £250,000 to get the treatment he needs in America.

Below is a newspaper article providing further information about this brave young boys fight.

We have made it back from Africa having successfully climbed the worlds highest free standing mountain - Kilimanjaro. Despite suffering headaches, stomach aches, sickness, blisters, hangovers, sleep deprivation etc we return home in one piece having had an unbelievable & amazing experience. Having put ourselves through all this we would be extremely grateful of any further donations to Freddies Fight charity. I have attached a photograph to evidence our success and cannot thank those who have donated already enough. Thank-you Andy & Phil

Thank-you to everyone who has donated so far, a week in and three weeks before departure and we have nearly raised £800 for #FreddiesFight. In terms of an update for climbing the mountain, Phil has had his first set of inoculations although we really aren't sure what inoculations we need! And we have both come to terms with the fact that our Thundercat sleeping bags won't cut it at the top of Kilimanjaro when it is -25 degrees. A trip to Go Outdoors is looming.
