Our names are Freya and Lauren, we are both Rangers which is a section of Girlguiding in Andover. As part of our Rangers Gold award we have decided to hold a fundraising event by walking 5 laps, which is 7.5 miles, around Charlton Lakes for the Andover Food Bank. We have decided to fundraise for the Andover Food Bank as they were able to feed over 6700 people from April 2020 to March 2021, this included over 1900 children. The main reason people use the Foodbank is due to low income which worsened due to the specific circumstances of lockdowns and business closures.
