Story
100 years ago Fulford’s residents clubbed together to erect a memorial as a fitting tribute to the men of the village who gave their lives in the Great War.
Sadly the years have taken their toll and the Village War Memorial is now in urgent need of major renovation.
Specialist stone masons have been found but the cost is high - £7,000.
Thanks to the support of the Parish Council and the Staffordshire County Council Community Fund we have £4,500 towards the total.
BUT that still leaves £2,500 to find...
Fulford Village Group is committed to closing that gap and we only have until March 2019 to do so.
That is why we urgently need your help and generosity.
We are asking every household in Fulford to donate just £10 in this special centenary year.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated. We have smashed our £2,500 target and the renovation will start in January 2019. This page is now closed - but any remaining envelopes or donations should be handed in as soon as possible so that we can update the final total and share our detailed plans. Fulford Village Group
