I want to raise money for Abbeyfield Ballachulish because sadly for us as a family that is where my mum now lives. She is in advanced stages of dementia. It is a heartbreaking loss for a family, hard to describe to anyone who has never been touched by it.

Abbeyfield give my mum incredible care and affection which gives us immense peace of mind. My mum was the life and soul of the party, first up to dance, would chat to anyone to make their day brighter and she was kinder than kind with a wicked sense of humour. The carers get that, some even know her as Creena before dementia robbed her of her memory and at times her personality. She is involved in activities all through the week like crafts, baking, singing, music, dancing, petting ponies, 10 pin bowling in Fort William, day trips away and so the list goes on. This all takes money and I can‘t think of any better charity to raise money for that goes directly to help give my mum fully interacted days instead of some places where I have no doubt she would be left in a seat all day!

Please help with any amount you can to help Abbeyfield continue their amazing work giving my mum and the other residents FUN and a feeling that they still matter <3 ❤️
