Alex Kiwomya who plays upfront for Doncaster Rovers has kindly donated a shirt signed by the whole team to help raise money for a fantastic young boy who needs our help!

Meet Oscar, a happy and intelligent boy who was born in January 2009 but due to complications with his birth, his brain was starved of oxygen. This has led to Oscar having athetoid which is the rarest type of cerebral palsy.

Oscar cannot walk or talk and he is unable to control his muscles and movements meaning he needs support with most things. The doctors were sure that Oscar would be deaf and blind but he is constantly proving them wrong as he can hear and see and is completely aware of the world around him.

The Bobath Centre in London (www.bobath.org.uk) specialise in treating children like Oscar and they believe he can improve with physio and speech therapy. Bobath believe that Oscar would benefit from seeing them every 6 months but each visit costs the family £5500.

The Calverts are constantly fundraising to give Oscar this essential treatment but here at The Garden Room, we are here to help!!
