Research has shown that visits to a sensory farm can enrich the lives of adults living with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Older people would also benefit from visits to the farm which can result in enhancing their well-being.
The farm's calm environment can be beneficial by:
Increasing self-esteem Invoking reminiscence ability Improving memory function Increasing communication
