Today is Glenda's birthday. Isn't it fantastic that they're able to celebrate it together as a family, making more precious memories.Yesterday was filled with sharing stories and lots and lots of laughter. They have two years of news to catch up on. Today it's a visit to hospital. The days ahead will not be easy but they are together. You have made all of this happen. Glenda and Felito arrived in Scotland last night to be with their parents Felix and Heidy. It is difficult to find the words to describe the family's joy at being together. A truly wonderful event that you have all made possible with your generous donations and the many acts of kindness and compassion that helped us get through the red tape and at times what felt like insurmountable barriers. .The days ahead will not be easy but they are together and that is what matters. Glenda and Felito's Visas were issued by the Home Office yesterday afternoon. They're travelling to Scotland this weekend and will arrive on Sunday . Felix and Heidy were overjoyed by the news.This could only happen with your generosity and encouragement. Felix and Heidy sends their love and gratitude to all of you who have helped in so many ways to bring their family together at this difficult time. A special thank you to their local MP John McNally whose office worked hard to ensure that the Visas was issued in time for their flight.
