I first met Archie through my daughter Georgia, they go to the same childminders, he is one of the most kind caring and fun little lads I know, what has really stuck with me is how he has always looked after Georgia.

Unfortunately Archie's dad has been diagnosed with Oesophagus cancer which is also in his lymph nodes to the stomach, he has been told its incurable.

His family have recently been fundraising to put a bucket list together and I would like to do something to help with this.

I will be doing a open water swim in Clevedon Marine Lake, covering the distance of swimming the English Channel, (21 miles) being new to open water swimming (been swimming in open water for only a month so far) this will be a massive challenge for me, but one I will be extremely proud to undertake for Archie's family.

I will be swimming the distance on the weekend of the 29th of August, giving me roughly 4/12 weeks to train.
