Story
The daughter of our conductor, Karen, was involved in a serious road accident in Haiti while working as a volunteer with the charity 'All Hands Volunteers'. Eilidh suffered serious injuries and was air-lifted to hospital in the Dominican Republic and has undergone several operations. Choir members have expressed a desire to raise funds for travel and subsistence to allow Karen and her family to be with Eilidh while she recovers in hospital. Any funds not required will be used to support the relief work in Haiti which has been devastated in the recent hurricane.

8 years agoAs I see we have already reached our initial target of £500, I have raised it to £1000 to reflect the significant expense of Karen flying to the Dominican Republic at such short notice. Remember, any monies not going towards the immediate support of Karen and Eilidh will be donated to the charity Eilidh was working for.
