Recently my 3 years old son, Mikey sustained a very severe eye injury. Without the immediate help from the surgeons on the day of the incident, he would have without a doubt, lost his eye.

Although the eye appears to be healing, Mike now faces a long journey, to try and restore some sight in the damaged eye.

I am so grateful to the doctors and staff at the West of England Eye Unit, that are helping my son, and many others like him.

On Sunday 28th May 2017, I will be running my first 1/2 marathon - 13.1 miles (I have never ran this far yet). I will be collecting sponsors for the eye unit.
