Kaylea sadly passed away January 16th 2019 💔
For those of you who don't know, Kaylea was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer back in January. After many, many visits to the doctors and hospitals, myself Kaylea’s sister pushed for them to do a scan. Sadly this is when we found out she had cancer and it had spread.
Kaylea’s cancer had started in her bowels but as was left unnoticed for years, it had spread to her liver. At the time, Kaylea’s 2 beautiful babies, Kian and Aoife were just 3 years old and 9 months old.
This news, as you can imagine was very hard to digest, however Kaylea being the strongest person I know, put up a fight for her family.
After many rounds of chemotherapy failing, she got herself fit enough for an operation.
On 10th July 2018, Kaylea had a major operation removing part of her bowel and half of her liver. She had done it, she was getting stronger each and every day.
Unfortunately cancer had other plans.
Kaylea returned to hospital on 9th October In alot of pain and sickness. Bringing her scan forward we heard the news we hoped we would never hear...
Kaylea’s cancer was back and this time had spread all over her liver, meaning another operation was out of the question.
Kaylea thought so so hard and made it to Christmas and got the wedding if her dreams thanks to you all !!
Kaylea’s last wish to myself was is to make sure her children and Mark her husband were looked after. We used so much of the funds for her treatment and wedding . What's left will be for Mark and the kids.
So I ask one last time, please donate anything you can and help my amazing sister the most beautiful angel up in heaven get her last wish for her kids.
