On New Year's Eve 2016 I decided to run a marathon every week of the year. It's week 40 and I've ran 40 marathons. Finally I took the plunge and registered for my first road marathon - an endurance marathon.
I've decided to use this opportunity to raise some money for some great cause. One very close to my heart - Cancer research- who fund life-saving research and give hope to millions of cancer patients - an invaluable commodity.
The second cause will fund a charity who refuse to give up on disabled children who have been abandoned by their parents. With few funds and little support, they aim to give them a quality of life every child deserves.
Everything I raise will be split evenly between the two charities. Please help by giving any little you can. Even if its just a £1 - every little helps!
