Story

My Cousin Christie Smith and her husband Lee Smith have a wonderful son named Ollie.

Ollie is 3 years old, he was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, he isn't able to stand or walk and requires a wheelchair to support his independence.

Ollie currently has a baby wheelchair (ZipZac), which he can really move in but he has now out grown this.

We, Christies Family and Friends are trying to help raise funds so they can buy a Simba Wheelchair for their son Ollie

Ollie has started nursery this September and by having a Simba Wheelchair it will enable him to access the setting and be able to join in with all the activities with the other children independently. Ollie has the skills to use the Simba Wheelchair already the quicker we get this for him the more he will develop his independence and confidence.

My part in this is I will be running the Lincoln ½ Marathon on Sunday 1st October to help raise funds, anyone willing to sponsor me no matter how big or small , will know that any money raised will be going towards a wheelchair for a fantastic little boy in an effort to support his development and independence.

Thank You, Mark
