My husband and I would love to become parents, but due to cancer treatment I am infertile and need to use donor eggs and IVF to make this happen. As we do not have the funds for this, we are asking for help by crowdfunding. Please help us make our dream come true!

This is our story....

Since the age of 17 I have suffered from a bone marrow failure called Aplastic Anaemia and after several years of failed treatments I had chemotherapy for a bone marrow transplant, which also failed. At the age of 29, after the failed transplant, I met Kieran and was married at 31. At that time my bone marrow failure had turned cancerous, so a more aggressive chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant was required. Before the transplant I had fertility preservation treatment where 13 of my eggs were collected and fertilised using Kieran's sperm. They were frozen and I underwent the more aggressive chemotherapy and stem cell transplant from my amazing sister. This finally worked and after 15years of uncertainty, I was in remission. I am now over 4years cancer free, doing well and more than ready to start our family.

Due to the stronger chemotherapy, I am now infertile and in Feb 2020 we started the IVF process to become parents with our frozen embryos. After being thawed, only 2 were good enough to implant and unfortunately the remaining embryos failed to grow and died. After 2 weeks hoping and praying we were told I wasn't pregnant. We were devastated.

I have always wanted to be a mother and feel I deserve my dream after waiting for so long to get healthy. We have no other option but to go with donor eggs, as any eggs I may produce with drug stimulation, would not be viable due to previous chemotherapies. IVF isn't cheap and using a donor costs even more. Any donations raised will go directly to fund treatments, medications, supplements and additional therapies so we can hopefully become a family.
