Jake started racing at the highest level in the UK just two years ago, after going to a corporate karting track, and has since taken the challenge with both hands and has delivered some outstanding results. He won 5 out of his 6 novice races, collecting the Novice Driver of the year award at the Trent Valley Kart Club in Lincolnshire (where Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button developed their careers), and has since moved on to greater things.

This year he is taking part in the Super 1 British Championship and is currently running in 6th position, and could still quite easily make the top 3, where he was sitting until a couple of mechanical failures dropped him three places. These races are televised and shown on Motors TV, plus appear in a few of the racing magazines. Now he has the chance to compete in the World Finals, but unfortunately has to run on a small budget, whereas many of his competitors have bottomless pits of cash. This is stopping him from fulfilling his dream of competing in a world championship where he would improve his skills further and also get Nottingham on the map.

He is a very hard working conscientious 15 year old, who works very hard at school obtaining many A* and straight A's in almost all of his subjects, he works very hard at his sport and his results speak for themselves as he races.

We would be very grateful, if we managed to raise enough money to give him a chance of competing.....Who knows, one day he could be on the top step at the Monaco Grand prix.
