    Story

We need to raise £5,000 to get Mr B to Jump out of a plane for Rogate and Rake Schools ✈️ Recently Rogate C of E Primary School and Rake C of E Primary School partnered together to be guided under the leadership of our amazing Headteacher, David Bertwistle. In his new role as Executive Head, David has faced many new challenges, one of which is being talked into participating in a sky dive! Seriously, our scared of flying, hater of heights, incredible Executive Head Teacher has allowed us to persuade him to launch himself out of a plane to raise vital funds for our two small rural village schools.

What we are doing and why:

Its no secret that schools are facing more and more pressure to succeed with less and less money from the budget. We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic leadership team, across the coalition, one that is willing to embrace such crazy ideas as this! We are hoping that with parent support, friends and family, colleagues and other caring souls, that we will reach an outstanding amount of £5,000.00 for this daring fundraiser. Secretly (well, not so secretly) we would love to raise close to £10,000.00 The money raised will be split equally across our two schools and will allow the schools to purchase an array of much needed extra equipment to support the amazing children who attend our schools. We will all benefit from this as the resources the money raised provides, can only enhance our children’s learning environment further.

    About our Schools:

Rogate and Rake Church of England Primary Schools are small village primary schools with a friendly, family feel. They both have a stimulating and supportive environment in which all children have the opportunity to develop their individual talents.

The schools offer a vibrant and creative curriculum through well planned, focused teaching incorporating visits, after school clubs, use of our exceptional outdoor surroundings and sports fields and outstanding musical opportunities. Displays are lively and interactive and they contribute to the positive ethos of the schools and celebrate the excellent quality of the children’s learning.

We are all committed to ensuring that all children have equal access to the whole curriculum and are given equal opportunities to develop to their full potential in safe and secure environments in partnership with parents and carers.

So, please please help us to help our children and enrich their learning environment further. Any donation, big or small, is gratefully received and thank you so much for supporting our small village schools!
