I am launching an urgent appeal to support the Marcus Rashford Campaign to keep our most hungry children fed during this half term and the Christmas holidays.

Having worked within the charity sector for a number of years i have seen first hand how much of a demand there is to help keep feeding our hungry children.

With Covid-19 families especially those working who have seen their pay cut and have been furloughed have found it hard to keep feeding their children.

Next week millions of children will go hungry, there will be some lucky ones who won't.

But we need your support during the school holidays to make sure we can provide school meals for children.

That's why we are setting up an appeal to support hungry children during these difficult times.

To ensure food hits their bellies and they don't go hungry during the school holidays.

At a time when families are struggling the most we want to do our little bit to help. Together we could make a huge difference.

We'll look to support children over the Halloween Half Term, During the Christmas Holidays and during a second lockdown if one happens.

We will share the money fairly across a number of selected Charities and CIC across England if our appeal is successful.

If we are successful with the appeal we will look to support a Charity or CIC in Hartlepool, who are feeding school children.

If we raise enough we will welcome emails from others doing the same to be considered for a share of the funding, but they must be a registered charity or CIC.

Groups who ask for the funding and can show they will really spend it in the right way will be given a share of the funding.
