Story
PLEASE HELP US RAISE £2,000 TO GET VISION SIGNING CHOIR TO JERSEY
Vision Signing Choir was set up in 2011 as a Community non-profit choir with 12 members to date we now have over 100 members and branches in Maidstone and Gillingham Kent. We combine British Sign Language and music to create a 3D experience enjoyed by both the Deaf and Hearing communities.
We perform for FREE around Kent raising Deaf awareness and breaking down communication barriers in a wonderful visual way whilst usually shaking a bucket or two collecting money for local small charities.
Our highlight of last year was not only hosting but WINNING the National Signing Choir Competition of 2018. We are very proud of our “Signing family” and although we are a non-profit choir we want to win back our title at Jersey Eisteddfod Festival in November.
We desperately need help in raising funds to get there, stay and we are always looking for local businesses to sponsor us for new uniforms to keep us dry and warm.
Many many thanks as every penny counts to bring that trophy back to Kent where it belongs!!!
