Story
My beautiful baby boy was born sleeping on the 8th April the most heartbreaking thing a parent has to go through.
Time was very precious for us as when a baby is born this early their skin deteriorates very quickly.
A cold cot slows this process down and gives parents extra time to hold and cuddle their babies. Unfortunatley for us the cold cot was broken and the other one was being used so our time with our boy was cut short and he had to be taken to the mortuary to become cold again. This was a very hard and painful experience which i am hoping in memory of my boy i can help prevent for others.
There was no better feeling when i had my baby in my arms cuddled into my chest i remember it like it was yesterday 😊
Our time together was cut short and if i can help prevent that from happening to other parents i will with your help 😀
I want to make my son proud of his mummy and this is whats keeping me going... please help me

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone that donated! The cold cot with Joshua's plaque will now be ordered and all the remainding funds will go towards memory boxes for other bereaved parents xxx

7 years agoSo i have met my target but that dosn't mean that i am going to cancel all my events that i have planned, im going to keep going and donate all the extra funds to Louies keepsake boxes. They are a charity that give you a memory box with kits do do handprints of your baby that you can treasure forever aswl as lots of other lovely treasures to keep in memory of your baby. My box meant alot to me and unless given to me at the time i wouldnt of thought of doing as your mind really isnt there. So i fully appreciate the charity for providing this!

I am 28 and a mum of 2 girls and a baby boy who is in heven. We are such a close and loving famliy so this has been very hard, our hearts have been broken. Funding a cold cot has gave us something positive to focus on in memory of our boy. We all want to make him proud.
