In September 2010 a team of brave, nervous and quite mad people from Crown Worldwide Group, UK & Ireland, are taking a giant leap in aid of charity. We've done a few challenges in the last couple of years in order to persuade you to part with your hard-earned cash but this time we're really going the distance by taking on the challenge of a skydive.
For many of the team this will be the first time they have done anything like this, so it will be a challenging event. To make it more worthwhile, the team will be jumping to raise funds for the Crown UK & Ireland nominated charity of the year - When You Wish Upon A Star.
The aim of this charity is to grant the wishes of children suffering from a life threatening illness, from the age of 2 to 16. When children are suffering from such illnesses it is an incredibly traumatic time, not only for the children concerned, but also their families. Because of this, When You Wish Upon A Star aims to bring a sparkle into their lives, no matter how big or small. The only way this can happen is through the generosity of supporters and fundraisers who raise money in order to grant wishes.
