The loss of a loved one, a parent or a child can be devastating. Cruse provides emotional support, information and practical help for people struggling to cope with bereavement. Cruse has 5,500 trained volunteers and is the largest and only organisation providing support to anyone bereaved by death.

It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cruse Bereavement Care gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Half of everything I raise will also go to the Oxfordshire branch of Cruse.

As many of you will know I have been involved with Cruse for a few years and have seen at first hand the good work that goes on there. However, charities like these depend on donations to keep afloat and it is for this reason that I have decided to sweat my way around the streets of London.  I am not a natural runner and find it all quite gruelling, so please dig deep into your pockets and support me as I attempt to support the work of Cruse.
