On the 13th May,  I will be packing my bike and flying to Corsica for the next mad challenge!  A 550 mile ride, in seven days, over the mountains of Corsica taking in the highest and steepest possible roads!  Differing from previous Challenge Adventure rides of the past, this is not a team event - it is a self supporting individual ride.  My now famous cycle shorts will be flown out ahead of me to avoid any airport security issues.

Shortly after this ride I intend to try and ride the 1000 mile Lands End to John 0'Groats route in five days. 

As training for these events I ran the London Marathon on the 22nd April. Now this is over - phew, the bike has been dusted off as soon as I am able to walk again and cycling will start in earnest.

I will be raising money via Challenge Adventure Charities - I have been a trustee of this Charity and organiser of these events for over ten years. Our main aim each year is that every penny that is donated will be sent to charity and unlike many other events, all travel and event costs are paid for personally by those taking part. If you would prefer to send me a cheque,  (made payable to Challenge Adventure Charities) that would be great too.
