The Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the Blind Charity Dragon Boat Race · 6 September 2009

My Sight Nottinghamshire (Formerly Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the Blind /NRSB) is a local charity which exists to ensure people living with sight loss across Nottinghamshire have access to the same life opportunities as everyone else.

Story

For the second year in a row CSY are entering a team in The Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the Blind Charity Dragon Boat Race on the River Trent in Nottingham on Sunday 6th September 2009.

Last year was our first year and we successfully managed to get to the final, but were pipped to the post by two other teams, this year we are going for GOLD!

Help us to support the NRSB by sponsoring us in our endeavours and watching us win this event.

Dragon Boat Racing is an ancient Chinese tradition with over 2000 years of history. It is Britain’s fasting growing water activity, requiring no previous experience and suiting all ages and abilities.

NRSB’s events provide much needed funds for the NRSB to carry out its essential services. The NRSB’s work strives to enhance the quality of life and independence of vision impaired people in Nottinghamshire. There are over 6,000 vision impaired people in the county, many of whom will need some level of support to achieve independence at some stage in their lives.

Thanks for taking the time to support this very good cause, and remember, all the money raised goes directly to the NRSB and stays in Nottingham.
