Story

The YCA is pleased to announce the official launch of its impressive and exciting new development, the Arab Cultural Centre. Having served the local community for the last 15 years, YCA has played a central role in providing religious, social, recreational and educational facilities.

The new centre has been designed with education and spirituality at the fore. This contemporary and highly developed building will be designed to be publicly accessible with provisions such as modern washing facilities, multi-function conference halls and education suite, and a dedicated prayer facilities for males and females.

The overall project cost is estimated to be £570,000. Alhamdulillah, we have managed to raise £370,000 which will be sufficient to form the shell of the centre. However we still need to collect £200,000 which cannot be achieved without our community’s moral, monetary and physical support. We have decided to divide the remaining amount by 400 praying places. Each praying place will cost £500 and can be purchased individually or as part of a group.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."  [Muslim]

Please capitalise on this opportunity and participate in this noble cause by donating whatever you can comfortably afford wholeheartedly today.

If you require further information regarding the project, please do not hesitate to contact the YCA on 0121 525 3909.

Wasalam & Warm Regards,
Arab Cultural Centre Committee
