Brick by Brick Appeal for Glasgow's New Hospice · 7 April 2015

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, situated in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, exists to help our patients achieve the best quality of life possible in whatever time remains for them. Where it may not be possible to add days to lives, we aim to add life to days for patients and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The C&W Scottish team was asked to raise £10,000 towards the cost of building the atrium in the hospice's new home in Bellahouston Park.

After completing our Arran Challenge we smashed through the £10,000 target and now Andy Cunningham's efforts have pushed us past our revised target of £15,000 - so all that's left to do is raise the bar again!

More fundraising initiatives to follow soon!

The Atrium will be the heart of the new build.  Arriving for the first time to any new place can be daunting and the emotions around the first visit to a Hospice for patients and their loved ones are considerable.

The aim is to offer a warm welcome and a sense of home in the Atrium and the design will reflect this.  Visitors will be welcomed in a comfortable yet practical environment with seating and a fire where patients and their families can relax and spend time together.
