CVBoosters is a social business that focuses on financial education and developing 'soft skills' amongst university students aspiring to work in the financial industry. We currently offer three key products for students at universities:

1. CVB Certificate in Finance (£100) - A case study based finance qualification introducing students to investment banking, economics, company and stock valuation, leveraged buyouts, financial statement analysis as well as fixed income and equity trading strategies. The aim of the course is to give students from non-finance backgrounds an open and engaging insight into the world of finance. 

2. Mock Assessment Centre (£20) - A 3 hour interactive workshop involving: a group case study and presentation with individual and collective feedback on performance, a numerical test and a unique opportunity to discuss your career goals with our approachable team of investment bankers, traders, researchers, accountants and management consultants.

We also run a number of other ad-hoc interactive workshops involving CV and cover letter writing as well as one-on-one interview sessions. Please contact us for further information on these events.

CVBoosters (CVB), sponsored by Deloitte, is a social business that focuses on financial education and developing 'soft skills'. CVB is run by passionate volunteers who are currently working in investment banks and the Big Four accountancy firms. Our mission is to help students achieve their potential when applying for graduate and internship positions in investment banking and accountancy whilst simultaneously supporting the outstanding work of the 'Friends of The Citizens Foundation' (FTCF). FTCF is a UK registered charity that supports the building of schools for underprivileged children in Pakistan. 

CVB was founded in November 2006 and since then has run workshops at the London School of Economics, University College London, Imperial College and Queen Mary . CVB has helped over 500 students with their graduate applications, countless of whom have landed their dream job at bulge bracket investment banks or the Big Four accountancy firms.
 
In March 2008, CVB won the inaugural 'Dragon's Den' competition held by Credit Suisse for its innovative and entrepreneurial fundraising method, winning £50,000 for FTCF. Five months later, CVB opened its first primary school for 180 underprivileged children in Pakistan.
