Kenya Cricket Development & Aids Awareness · 7 June 2007

Cricket Without Boundaries is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. Crucially, CWB also uses cricket as a tool in the fight against AIDS. CWB’s training sessions have at their heart discussion about the disease in terms of prevention, treatment and equality of treatment for those with and without the disease.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

In November 2007, eight members of the Cricket Without Boundaries team, (of which i am one), are travelling to Kenya to continue the work done by the last team that visited the country.  During our three weeks in Kenya we will be visiting 3 areas spending a week in each, teaching adults how to coach cricket and youngsters how to play the game, finishing with a tournament and developing the understanding of teamwork.  We will also be delivering various talks/courses on aids awareness and along with cricket trying to break the stigma and myths, and deliver education about the disease in this much affected country.  We are hoping to gain as much success as the last team that visited the country and continue their progress made.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Cricket Without Boundaries Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
