Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, works in partnership with health professionals to try to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care and funds research that could help to reduce the numbers of babies dying and families devastated by this tragedy.

Many thanks for visiting our justgiving page. We've stupidly agreed to run the London 10K on July 12th 2009 to raise money for SANDS.
We were inspired by Sarah's story of her precious daughter Amelie, who died from neonatal death 4 years ago, so are committed to raising money for this great cause.
SANDS helps bereaved parents in learning to cope with the loss of their baby / babies. They also work closely with local hospitals to improve medical and maternity services and are making a difference in tackling this difficult topic.
