PARIS MARATHON AND A LONDON TO PARIS CYCLE RIDE.... ARPIL AND JUNE 2009
Thank you for visiting our web page. As most of you know our second daughter Lucia was born with a condition called DiGeorge. This condition has multiple things to take into account but the three most common are immune system can be compromised, learning development problems and heart defects. Lucia was born in April with two holes in her heart and had to undergo open heart surgery in September 2008.
Lucia was lucky, she is recovering very well since surgery but there are lots more children who are either stuck in hospital or sadly don’t survive. We decided to help other families who are in a similar situation.
I am running the Paris Marathon which takes place on the 5th April and my legs are already killing me training and then a few months later I will be riding to Paris starting from Greenwich on the 3rd June. (Sadly not riding my motorcycle, which would make this so much easier....)
We are planning on running a number of different events over the next few years for children's charity so please keep checking for new pages for more exciting things like walking theGreat Wall of China or skydiving and if you would like to get involved at any level then please feel free to contact me directly.
