Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

The four of us are putting ourselves through the most physically challenging adventure of our lives in order to raise as much money possible to help improve the lives of those with cancer.

Cancer Vaccine Institute is the only National Charity in the UK specifically funding Research to fight cancer with vaccines. '1 in 3 people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer during their life time' (CRUK, 2004). This is the chilling fact and as a result most of us whatever age or background have been affected in one way or another.

We hope to raise significant amounts of money for CVI in order to help them make a difference to the lives of the patients and that vaccines become an accepted form of treatment. In the long term enabling people to live longer and with an improved quality of life. I hope you have been exceptionally generous!! As a result of sponsoring us online your money gets to the patients faster and if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. With so much potential and recent success, CVI is an extremly worthy charity improving many peoples lives, please support them to enhance their success. If you would like more information on our charity event please visit (www.cyclingmadness.co.uk). We are also donating to an AIDS orphan charity if you would like to see this page visit www.justgiving.com/cyclingforaids
