In 2009, thanks to all of our sponsors and supporters, Cycle For Gambia raised over €60,000. Yes that's right, over €60K!
This money has been used to bring safe and clean drinking water to 2 villages on the North Bank of Gambia - Njongon & M'Bollet Ba. (See the pictures of the Borehole & Water tank that has been built - now pumping tens of thousands of litres of water daily.)
We now want to send Hippo Rollers to Gambia, to make it easier for the villagers to transport water from the stand-pipes to their homes.
