"London To Paris To Pompey" Charity Bike Ride 2010 · 4 June 2010

Hounds for Heroes provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured & disabled personnel of both HM Armed Forces & Emergency Services. Our aims are to provide help & practical support leading to an enhanced quality of life for our beneficiaries.

Story

The ride will take 4 days, cover  nearly 300 miles and take the boys from London, to Paris and back to Portsmouth! None of us are experienced "regular" cyclists so this really will be a true challenge for all of us! We have chosen HOUNDS FOR HEROES as our charity, because it is a truly superb cause, dedicated to improving the lives of the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day for all of us, in the armed services and civil emergency services. It is a truly wonderful cause and we are all very proud to be involved with Hounds For Heroes and help them in the fantastic work they do!

The purpose of "Hounds for Heroes" is to provide specially trained  assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of both the  UK Armed Forces and Civilian Emergency Services. Through this provision their aims are to provide help and practical support, leading to an enhanced quality of life for our clients.
