Welcome to the fundraising page for Cycle Italia - We are cycling 1700kms from a town in the Italian Alps to the southern tip of Sicily...in 3 weeks!
We want to raise as much money as possible for RIPPLE Africa to help it reach its target to plant 4 million trees a year. Deforestation in Malawi is a huge problem and it is contributing to global climate change. This project helps to save the environment by providing the local people with a sustainable source of wood, fruit and fuel.
£100 pays for 1000 trees to be planted
So, what are we going to do to make this happen? We are going to cycle from the tip to the toe of Italy and just a little bit more (well to the most southerly point in Sicily) in the heat of the Italian Summer. Are we mad?- Yes, but we are going to do it, so please, please donate as much as you can to help this really worthy cause.
