Hi!

I did promise (on tv) that I would raise some money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance by cycling Lands End to John O'Groats so here we are!!  I'm expecting a tough trip as my Dad is also cycling with me and Dave and then we are all camping alongside my Mum and Stepdad in their motor home!  We'll be attempting to do the trip in 8 days so that means 120-130 miles a day in the saddle - I thought Dad would make me look good but after a couple of training rides it seems he is fitter than both me and Dave put together!!  I'm still struggling on steep hills but I have sent my bike in for extra brakes and am hoping that I will get better!

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance helps save the lives of so many people who are need help fast.  It was such a relief for me to see the helicopters overhead and knowing that I was not far away from the hospital.  Unfortunately, they are expensive to run so please give generously to support a worthwhile charity in our community.
