The cycling gorilla is back! And he brought all his friends, too!
For the second time, a team of Cambridge University Press, supported by friends and family members, took part in the annual London to Cambridge charity bike ride to raise money for Fauna & Flora International, including Rob Harris from FFI in his thick, furry gorilla costume. And he was not alone this time: we also had a lion, a jelly fish, a fox (or was it a red panda?), a bear, a crocodile, a pack of wolves and a zebra on the team - check out the photos on our facebook page.
Why did we do the ride?
Biodiversity, the variety of life on Earth, drives the life support systems on which humans and all other species rely. The people at Fauna & Flora International (FFI) are working for a sustainable future for the planet, where biodiversity is effectively conserved by the people who live closest to it, supported by the global community.
