Story
We will be travelling to Iceland this summer. The aim of our trip is first to have fun and see an amazing country neither of us have been to before. The secondary aim is to raise as much money for our three chosen charities as possible. The three charities we have chosen are St. Michaels Hospice Harrogate, Shelter and The Scott Aitken Music Foundation. The later charity been based within St.Aidan's Church of England high School. Scott was our best friend, so this charity is a natural choice for us. St. Michaels have helped us and many people in our families aswell as some of our friends. Shelter is a charity we have helped previously and feel strongly about helping the homeless.

We aim to bike ride around Iceland, from Reykjavik to Reykjavik within 6 weeks. The total mileage is yet to be finalized as we aim to add a small detour to see the North-Western Fjord-lands. Most of the trip will however will follow Route 1, which is Iceland's main circle road. The distance is roughly 900miles but with the additional Fjord-lands the distance may be increased to 1000miles.
