Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

In September this year we will set off on a cycle from the UK, through France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Iran,  Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgizstan, China, India, Bangladesh, Burma, Thailand, Malaysia and finally to Singapore. We will cycle over 15,000 miles and cross 24 borders.

We are raising money for the charity Medecins Sans Frontieres. This is a charity dedicated to discovering and responding to emergencies and disasters around the world. They work in over 60 countries and help those in greatest need, no matter where or who they are.

This is an issue close to our hearts. The declaration of Geneva asks doctors "to consecrate my life to the service of humanity." Medecins Sans Frontieres is a form of this service to humanity which is not bound by political or geographical divide. It is only by donation that MSF remains independent.

Please give generously.

...Oh yeah, and we're doing it all on a bamboo bike that we built ourselves!
