We're going on a treasure hunt! Please don't feel as though you are funding a holiday for us, as we have paid for our own travel, accomodation and expenses. All your money goes straight to the charities that RAG supports, which for this event are: Barnsley Cancer Relief, Helen's Trust and Shield.

As part of the Treasure Hunt Europe, in June 2010 us five ladies (Tash Jones, Aimee Hardy, Charlotte Coleman, Rachel Ferguson and Lucy Summers) are going to be raising money for charity by being dropped in Europe with nothing but an inter-rail pass and a set of clues that we have to decipher to get ourselves to the finish line before any other team and ultimately back home to England. The only thing we know is that the treasure hunt starts on 14th June in Lille, France, and is going to take us to 5 different countries. Sheffield RAG is a committee who gives it's free time to organise events to raise money for charity, and this event alone is expecting to raise around £15,000 for charities in and around South Yorkshire but obviously for that to happen we really need your help! We're aiming to raise at least £250 per team member and so we're asking you beautiful people to help us on our way. We're as skint as the rest of you (trust us) and realise it's hard times being a poor student so we're going to organise loads of things to make you feel like it's worthwhile to donate your money. Every pound you can donate will help us and all the charities that RAG supports, and no matter how poor we all are a few quid isn't gonna hurt anyone's bank account too much (it could even help your liver!).

 We're open to suggestions about ways to raise money but a few things that we've come up with already include:
Kitchen Cleaning Service: If your kitchen is too sick to touch then we are willing to brave it for a few pounds of your good money.
Cake Sales: Pretty much what the title suggests. 
Pizza Delivery Service: At some point we're going to start cooking food that we will happily deliver to your flat for even less money than Fernando's. More details to follow...
