Story
Earlier this year, Oliver's Grandad tragically lost his battle with cancer.
A few weeks ago this gentle 8 year old placed his hand on my shoulder and said..
"Your Daddy died this year and I know that it made you really sad. I wanted to make you happy again by making £10 to give to a hospice.
" I know this hospice help people that are dying and I thought that if I help them, then this might make you happy again daddy, I don't like seeing you sad".
Oliver, a selfless little boy and diligent Cub Scout working towards a personal cub challenge badge, wants to raise "£10" for St Luke's Hospice to make daddy happy again.
Ten pounds is a lot of money to an 8 year old!
As a proud Father, I thank you for rewarding this little 8 year old boys loving gesture with whatever you can give to a hospice which do so much to help people near the end of their lives.
Thank you Oliver, I love you deeply my Son.
Oliver's Daddy, Vincent.
