Story

Brighton Marathon Completed!

So Chris and I completed the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 18 April in 4 hours and 18 mins. This is obviously far slower than Chris would normally run but he was kind enough to drag... errr I mean help me around the course.

Considering my injury prone preparation (I hadn't trained beyond 10 miles!)  I was really chuffed with the time and the achievement. Especially overtaking and beating the men dressed as Scooby Doo, a giant Banana and a horse. My friends pointed out that a man dressed as a penguin did run faster though.

We wanted to thank you all for donating to Stonewall - we've now gone beyond our target of £1000 which is fantastic. We'd also specially like to thank our family (well in Chris's case, a bit far for mine to come) and friends who came down to support us on the day.

Cheers!

Dale
