Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I am taking part in the Afasic Cycle Challenge from Avonmouth (on the Bristol Channel) to Yarmouth (on the Isle of Wight) about 200 miles in total, from the 19-23 July to raise money for Afasic.
Afasic is the UK charity that helps children and young people affected by the hidden disability of speech and language impairments, working for their inclusion in society and supporting their parents and carers. Across the UK there are over 1 million children and young people who are affected by the disability which is a hidden, but very real, disability.
Afasic provides help, information and support for these children, young people and their families. They provide a telephone helpline, a range of publications, organize training workshops, run activities and events for the children and young people and have a network of local parent support groups across the UK. This is their 40th Anniversary year and your support would be greatly appreciated. The video on the left is from Afasic, the West Kent Branch. It shows what fun the kids have with Afasic organization and when they meet up and just be themselves.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Afasic will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
