Begona Cao, principal dancer of the English National Ballet and supporter of Down's South London, is staging a dance charity gala in aid of Down's South and another London charity, Small Steps School for Parents. The gala is being held at the Bloomsbury Theatre London on Tuesday 15 September 2009 at 7.30pm. It will feature a mixed bill of classical and modern danceperformed by principal dancers and soloists of the English National Ballet together with special guests pupils from the West London School of Dance. In addition to Begona, dancers include: Fernanda Olivera (Senior Principal, English National Ballet), Yat Sen Chang (Senior Principal, English National Ballet) and Irina Takahashi (Senior Principal, English National Ballet).
