The 'Cloggies' are a newly-formed' troupe of clog dancers determined to preserve the fishing traditions and heritage of the North-East of England. We have already given a performance at a local  history centre displaying the fish wives dance stemming from the operations of the Cullercoats beach fishing fleet. We are a small troupe but hope that this dance (and other dances and music) will go down well in Bristol - a centre of marine tradition and heritage in it's own right !! We wish the SCCT well in their efforts to spread awareness of threats to the ocean environment and hope that our contribution will help in their endeavours.
