London to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge · 10 June 2007 ·

We are a national charity working to transform the hopes and happiness of young people facing abuse, exploitation and neglect. We support them through their most serious life challenges and we campaign tirelessly for the big social changes that will improve the lives of those who need hope most.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

One hazy morning myself and three friends decided that we would try and make a difference and raise money for the Children’s Society by cycling from London to Amsterdam, 511km …in 4 days! I will be travelling through 4 countries; England, France, Belgium and Holland.

However I’ve almost forgotten how to ride a bike (its been that long since I last got on one) so its going to take a lot of training; blood, sweat and tears to complete this in June!

…but it will be worth it for all the good work that this charity does for the under-privileged children in the UK. So please help them by sponsoring me – your generosity really will make a difference!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Children's Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Many thanks for your support!!

Dan

PS I'm also taking part in the 3-Peaks challenge in July (climbing the 3 highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within 24Hrs) for Demelza House Children's Hospice - sponsorship details to follow shortly...
