Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. My sole intention is to raise funds for the unit that brought my Mum back from the edge of oblivion, and gave me an extra 15 months with her before she died. She died on May 3rd 2009 and her death has convinced me even more that I should reward those that afforded me more time with her.
The unit at Hurstwood Park is staffed by the most dedicated and professional medical practitioners I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. There's always a smile, a friendly word and the emotional support to help you through whatever crisis you have. I'm confident that without the expertise at Hurstwood Park, there are hundreds of people who would have suffered the trauma of bereavement, as well as the trauma of an injury to a loved one.
