I finished in 4:45, which considering the hot weather I was very pleased with. I really struggled through the last hour and a half as the weight of the costume took its toll, but the crowd support was fantastic and I made it in the end. Thanks again for all the sponsorship - it makes it all worthwhile.

Thanks to SP for the race photo.

Welcome to my JustGIBBON page! You can easily donAPE by clicking below! Please CHIMP in towards the target!

After my successful London Marathon last year I’ve decided to take the fancy dress to the next level, and on April 18 I will be running the first ever Brighton Marathon (26.2 miles) in a GORILLA SUIT, to raise money for WaterAid.

WaterAid provides water and sanitation to the world’s poorest communities. By providing these basic facilities that most of us take for granted, they can make a huge difference to the lives of thousands of people. See the links to the left and below for more details.

If you would be kind enough to sponsor me, please just click below! If you're a UK taxpayer, please be sure to select Gift Aid so that WaterAid can claim back your basic rate tax.

Training miles completed (5th April): 369 (target 442).
