Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year's Virgin London Marathon will be my 5th marathon and hopefully, if I can just lay off the Jaffa Cakes a bit, my fastest! Training is going very well so far and I hope to get around the course in a time of sub 3hrs 10mins. Most importantly, the aim is to raise at least £1200 for Homestart and this where your help is gratefully received.
Through a group of caring parent/carer volunteers Home-Start support parents who are struggling to cope, who have at least one child under five years of age. A family may need support for many reasons including post-natal illness, disability, bereavement, the illness of a parent or child, or social isolation. Parents supporting other parents: it's a simple idea that really works.
Please note that whilst Homestart are a national charity, all money raised will be used by the Bridgend branch of Homestart. The website address of the Homestart is included below.
