The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This Sunday 2nd October I'll be getting up at 5am to do the Palace to Palace Bike Ride in London in aid of The Prince's Trust with some of my HPE colleagues, all in the name of "fun" :)

The ride is 90 miles, which will be the furthest I've ever cycled and as a stretch target I am aiming to do 100 miles in total on the day to achieve my first century.  Departing The Mall at 6:30am we will cycle the "scenic route" to Windsor Castle where I will only stop when I see a BAR.

Training was going really well until this weekend when I did 75 miles on Sunday and my legs felt shocking.  The last 20 hurt, so I'm expecting to be spent by the time I get to the 100 mile mark after around 5.5 - 6 hours in the saddle.

Thank you very much for whatever you can spare for this great cause.
