Through my friends and colleagues in Real tennis we have decided to cycle from Newcastle to Hayling Island (450ish mile) to raise money for charity.

The charities I have chosen are the Stroke association and The British Heart Foundation. Eight months ago my father in law,  Barry Mortimer passed away from a stroke after a courageous battle with cancer. Three months ago I nearly lost my own Dad, Mervyn through a heart attack. Luckily he has made a full recovery and is now back on the Real Tennis court.
